She is absolutely perfect.  Labor was quick and easy.….considering it was labor.  They broke my water at 1:45 and she was born at 4:41.  I was actually surprised at how easy it was.  After Rockwell I didn’t think I could possibly have another baby without an epidural (and he was only like 6 hours of labor), but after Ruby I am signed up to do it again.  It helps when you have the awesomest doctor ever and get really lucky with the nurse who is assigned to you that day.

My other 4 amazings.

Because of the bad RSV outbreak the kids couldn’t come meet her in the room, but they waited to see her through the nursery window.

Still waiting.  They were so good and patient.  And I missed them bad.

They had been waiting and waiting for the new baby and it was so hard for them not to be able just to take her home right then.

All ready to go home then next morning.

I am not good at pictures, at all, they never look good, but I keep taking them so at least we have them.

For now we just stay home and hang out together and play with our sweet little baby.

Good Morning Ruby…..

They are all doing great.

Even Rockwell, he gets a little cranky at night and I have to make sure I hold him and rock him to sleep, and if I do that he can last another day without my full attention.  Eyla keeps asking when we are going to dress her up in “day” clothes.  Because she has been in “night” clothes (jammies) since she got home.  I’ll find Raya just sitting by her and looking at her, she rubs Ruby’s little legs and calls her “cutie bug.”

Perry is even more outnumbered now but I know he secretly loves it.  Because he has 4 girls who think he is the most amazing person in the world.

I secretly wish the clock would stop.   Right now life is just perfect.  I wish it would just stay like this forever.

Congrats! She's just beautiful. I'm really falling behind, considering that we started at the same time--I can't believe you have 4! I better get on the ball. ;)

YAY! SO cute! I can't believe you have four either, that is insane!!! You will have to let me know how it is, seriously, I keep debating if I should wait a couple of years and then crank out another couple or just do it all together...blah. I guess I will worry about it another day. :) Sorry, random tangent! She is adorable (so are the rest of your kids!).

I've been waiting for this post! Seriously, one little text pic is not enough. She is so so cute and I am so jealous you get to hold that little cuddly warm baby all day. I bet eyla and raya are in heaven having her around. and p.s. I couldn't believe you posted on my blog-- who has time to do that with 3 kids and a newborn?? It's official, you're superwoman.

Congratulations!! Your family is absolutely gorgeous. And your comments about picture-taking made me laugh--I TOTALLY feel the same way. I look at other blogs with perfect pictures and my kids are blurry with red-eye :)
