Carving pumpkins at the park.
Hands in his pockets, he wanted nothing to do with the pumpkin guts. What a sissy!
Finally convinced him to dig in with a spoon, it lasted long enough to take a picture.
Then I retrieved his pumpkin guts.
The girls rocked it and loved it!Raya drew her face, I cut it out. She loved her happy little pumpkin.Eyla especially loved it and drew on her face and cut it out herself. She is so creative that girl.Ruby’s sideways pumpkin in was too skinny to dig in the tall way so we just laid it down. The final product. Thanks Alan and Linda for the pumpkins. Love you guys.Nobody wanted a scary pumpkin, but Eyla wanted a sad one, note her face in the picture below. She wanted to match her pumpkin. Funny girl.Post carving doughnut fest. Yumm-o!
Yes, even Ruby got some. I tell you what, trying to stop great grandparents from giving kids and babies sugar is impossible.
But I secretly love how they spoil my kids.
Trunk or Treat
The only event we managed to get totally decked out for was the trunk or treat.
We did fancy hair, lipstick and sparkles. Well, just the girls.
We put on their costumes for the other Halloween events but I did not manage to get them all dolled up again.
Glad we got pictures the night of the Trunk or Treat!
October 31st.
The best sister in law ever and coolest new mom.
Us with our little crews….. Hers is still pretty little and sweet and quiet….kinda :):)
My crew is a little bigger and a lot louder and way more out of control.
And they are……
ALL MINE!
I know it doesn’t look like much, but there is nothing more beautiful to me. Us 6 = pure happiness.
There is only one super hero dressed up in this picture, but they are both my heros.
My big girls.
My ducky momo.
Just in case you don’t know who ducky momo is.
You know we are huge phineas and ferb fans.
Trick or Treat!
Came upon this batman pumpkin at a house… had to get a picture.
Came back from trick or treating and found this angel snoozing on grandma.
Examining all the loot.
He immediately found a sucker in his pile and ate it. He is OBSESSED with suckers. In the below picture you can see
the next morning when they counted their candy again he separated out all his suckers. He had nine.
Now he has none. For a while everytime I pulled down their buckets he dug through his looking for a sucker
until Eyla (who is so sweet) noticed he couldn't find one in his and would give him one of her suckers. But now she and
Raya are both out of suckers. Never mind the full size snicker bar, skittles, milk duds, m&m’s, and licorice that
I keep shoving at him from his bucket, to no avail. If it isn’t a sucker it is no good. Hmmmm, too bad I guess
I’ll have to polish off his bucket of candy.
and this is probably the best halloween video of all time. oh my. there are no words. it is just amazing!
brings me and perry to laughing tears everytime we watch it.
